Man City vs Watford FA Cup Final

Man City vs Watford FA Cup Final 2019 Live Stream

Manchester City could make history on Saturday by becoming the first team in English football history to claim a domestic treble.

City have already swept up the Carabao Cup and the Premier League, and could complete the set against Watford in the FA Cup final on Saturday.

The players will have no doubt recovered from the hangovers of celebrating clinching their fourth Premier League title last weekend, with a 4-1 win at Brighton, and are raring to go one final time in this incredible season.

City have been in sensational form in the season's run-in, winning 12 straight games in a row as they marched to title triumph despite the ever present pressure from a remarkable challenger in Liverpool.

They've been so dominant that Glenn Murray's surprise opener on the final day was the first time City actually fell behind in a game since the defeat to Newcastle at the end of January - and Brighton's lead lasted just the 83 seconds.

Kyle Walker, Vincent Kompany, Aymeric Laporte and Aleks Zinchenko have solidified themselves as City's first choice back four in recent weeks after months of rotation earlier in the season.

Captain Kompany especially has rekindled the form that once made him one of the world's best defenders in recent weeks and his leadership has dragged City through some tough situations.

Midfield is where there could be a chance from the side that strolled to victory against Brighton.

Ilkay Gundogan will likely continue to deputise for the semi-fit Fernandinho in the defensive midfield role, especially after his excellent performance against Brighton, and he most likely will be flanked by David Silva.

Pep Guardiola confirmed that Fernandinho trained on Thursday and Friday though it's not yet known if he'll be fit for the game.

Manchester City vs Watford: FA Cup Final 2019

FA Cup Final 2019:Manchester City goes for its third trophy of the season and Watford aims for its first major trophy in club history on Saturday in the FA Cup final at Wembley Stadium in London. After winning the Premier League and the League Cup, Pep Guardiola's team enters the final as the heavy favorite, while Watford believes it can pull off the surprise to produce the most magical moment in the club's history in the top flight.

FA Cup: Manchester City vs. Watford
Date: Saturday, May 18
Time: 12 p.m. ET
Location: Wembley Stadium

Manchester City: No cup final is ever a cakewalk, but City should feel confident about earning this crown. Having beaten Watford twice this season gives the club plenty to work with in order to repeat, but the magic of the FA Cup final produces surprises. Expect a typical City game where they control most of the ball, create tons of chances and have more than enough opportunities to win it.

Watford: It's all about belief for this team. If Wigan Athletic can beat Manchester City in the FA Cup final, why can't they? Of course, this City is a much more dominate version than that 2013 squad. While that team did have David Silva, Vincent Kompany and Sergio Aguero, it wasn't nearly as prolific in attack. That's why the key to Watford's success will be defensively remaining strong. All eyes will be on Abdoulaye Doucoure and his ability to cause problems in the middle.
